Ok so I am an atheist, but i actually really like the concept of Buddhism, and my teacher said you can still be an atheist and Buddhist. The only thing that scares me is in the one in a million chance there is a god i might go to hell. but if that god was real he certainly wouldn't be the one i would want to believe in. if you do, great, and i know not all christians do these things, but i think god should be about love, not punishment, prayer, and conversion. and the other day i was driving by this street, they had pictures of aborted fetuses and people protesting, i'm thinking REALLY?!?! shame on you, not people getting abortions. I recently purchased a full pedigree female adult Chinese Shar-Pei from a couple who could no longer care for her. She is just a little over one years old and is a gorgeous dog. I believe she's an absolute true blood, anybody can tell by her features. The couple told me they originally purchased the dog from a professional breeder, but lost her paperwork. They also could not give me any information leading to that exact breeder either. Not sure if I was ever told the truth or what, but it was never really important to me because I instantly fell in love with the dog and just wanted to have her. I do have the dog's original vet records with her actual birthdate (May 18, 2010) and some other useful information, just not sure how to go about doing anything with it or if I even can. Why did a police officer charge me for not having an insurance card, after I gave him it?

Tonight I was pulled over by a police officer in a residential neighborhood, and since it was the first time this had happened to me I was a little nervous, not mention unsure of how to proceed. When he asked for my license, registration, and insurance, I handed him my license and registration, but being genuinely confused I said that my mother had my insurance card (mistaking it for my health insurance card which my mother had taken the day before to pay my doctor). He asked me why a doctor would need my auto insurance, and then demanded I "try again". Truly baffled I happened to look down and see my auto insurance card in the plastic envelope which I had my registration in. Finally understanding, i handed to the officer asking if that was correct, and he took the up to date insurance card out and left with the three without a word. He came back a few minutes later and handed me a summons for not having my insurance documents. Just happy to have it done with, I thanked him and he left, but then curious as to what int he world just happened I called my parents. My mom asked if the insurance was expired, I replied no. She too was confused as to why the officer gave me this for not having my card, even though I did, after some initial confusion, but before he even left the side of my car the first time. Insurance between jobs?

We are currently covered under my wife's insurance. Lease agreement regarding central air conditioning?

so our lease says that we have central air conditioning. The original listing said that we had central air conditioning. When we did the walk through, we noticed two window unit air conditioners in the closet and the lady showing the house said that those were probably just supplemental for the previous tenants. We moved in the winter so we didn't test it out right away to see if it worked. When summer came around we were complaining about numerous things, ie: flooding in the basement, mold, gas leak, etc.. and we thought that since we had the window units we would just deal with it. Also we were afraid that there was something we just hadn't done that was keeping the AC from running. Like changing filters, cleaning it out, and so forth because we had a newsletter thing that came with our rent saying that we would be charged accordingly if someone was called out to do a simple task that we should have been able to do ourselves. Anyways, this summer I am pregnant in my 3rd trimester and I can NOT stand the heat. I called to get someone to come out and look at it and we were told TWICE that someone was on their way and they never showed. The third time I called, I was told that the AC didn't work, even before we moved in and the owner of the property (we rent from property managers so they don't actually own the the dwellings) refuses to replace the AC as it is too much of a cost to them. We asked if we could get the rent lowered to accommodate the change and they said that was also not an option. Our lease was 12 months and as of now it is on a month to month basis but I believe we still have to uphold to our side of the contract until we move, as do they on their part. The only option they gave us was to move to another unit that offeres central air. I am very frustrated with the whole situation because one of the criteria for moving was central air and I never had a second look at anything that didn't offer it. I never would have rented this place if I had known it only offered window units. So my question is, that since it says on our lease that we have central AC, do they have to make it work? Are they held up to their end of the contract even after our 12 months has lapsed? It was their mistake for putting central on the lease in the first place, so if the owner of the property doesn't want to pay, I believe the management company should fork up the dough to get it replaced. As an ex-catholic, I think the church got bold after vatican II and assumed (wrongly) that all the kids born in the late 60s / 1970s would naturally follow catholicism without question. The church leaders sort of adopted an imperial Roman view and just assumed that their empire would continue, and didn't bother to make much of a case for what made catholicism the best argument for god. Now, add to this the fact that kids in Western Culture born post-1960s failed to see holy orders (becoming a priest or nun) as a good career move, and the church began to have a problem of a shortage of staff. The church also failed to keep up with the rapid changes of the 1960s (Women's Rights, Gay Rights, etc.) and stuck with their Dark Ages mentality, which lost them more followers. Then came the sex abuse scandals starting in the 1980s, and the church really found itself on the ropes.

If my research is correct, it is illegal to drive a homemade electric mini motorcycle on the street and sidewalks of Illinois without proper registration and insurance (which would be pretty hard to obtain). And as for as I know it IS legal to ride a bicycle on the street and sidewalk. So how would a homemade bicycle with an electric motor that only helped with the pedaling fair on the streets? Can a virus cause my laptop to power off and not power back on?

In Christianity there is only one holy book (the Bible). In Islam there is only the Koran. However, when it comes to Sanatana Dharma, there are so many holy books (Mahabharta, Puranas, Upanishads, Four Vedas). Hit and run accident advice??

So I was on my way to work when a car ran a stop sign and hit my passenger side and then she drove off. I was hesitant to call the police because my registration was expired, so instead I called the tow company that I know of. The tow truck came and I told him my situaton, we both agreed that I was screwed lol. As me and the tow truck driver started walking back to the truck to leave we stumbled across a licence plate (the plate belonged to the person who hit me). Somebody please help me with my dog!?

His name is Tanner and unless I find another good loving home for him by monday, he's going to be put to sleep. He was a rescue dog and was abused and not socialized when he was young. He's an 11 month old Anatolian shepherd. He is fear aggressive and very protective of me, im his gal! Long story short, he ended up biting someone (not bad, the guy only needed two stitches) and now, unless I find a home for him by monday, he has to be put down. Please, I love him so much. no rescue group or sanctuary is taking him because it was an unprovoked bite. He let go right when he bit though and sat down. he's not a mean or vicious dog, he's young and scared. Since i got him 4 months ago, he has come leaps and bounds and has made tramendous progress in his basic trainging and on his fear problems. Please, help him! What to do when on a date with a girl?

I have been told to always talk to more then one girl, but I always get stuck just dating only one. ok, I am an international student and while I was driving I was stoped by a cop for driving 10 miles over the speed limit, and he let me go for speeding but wrote me a citation for no insurance. AT&T UVERSE/DSL question about promotions and new/old service swapping?

I was wondering if someone could purchase u-verse at a promotional price for a residence that already has existing dsl in another person's name, then once they receive the self-installation kit, cancel the DSL and have them activate the uverse? Can a person have an allergic reaction to cat dander after a cat has been in his/her yard hours before he has?

My neighbor is claiming she has an allergic reaction to my cat even though he or any stray cat may have visited her yard hours prior to her entering her yard (and my cat is no longer there, but inside or in my yard). EEOC //WRONGFUL TERMINATION?

On Oct 15th 2009 I was fired from a rent to own company called Rent 1st in LV NV. Prior to being fired we were under new management, they were racist against both women and African Americans. They made several comments stating this job was best suited for Caucasians and Hispanics, they demoted me but continued to have me perform my job duties as a Sales Manager but paid me as a representative. They refused to give any promotions to me as they stated I was not ready, however I was the top sales associate in the nation. They only hired Hispanics, released others from employment based on their age and race. We have applications from potential candidates in which the manager wrote "older black male" or "young white guy". I knew I was in trouble as they constantly looked for reasons to reprimand me so prior to being terminated I filed a suit with EEOC . 3 weeks after filing I was terminated. As a Sales rep my duties are to gain revenue, in order to do so I had to be at the store but they constantly had me out doing deliveries and then would reprimand me for not meeting my daily quota! It was a setup!! One day they sent me out to a service call, they asked me to drive a vehicle which was unregistered and uninsured. In the state of Nevada if I was pulled over I would be held responsible. I declined and gave them my reasoning as I did not feel comfortable driving that vehicle. They sent me home and told me not to come back. When I went to file unemployment they tried to fight it saying I was fired for insubordination but I had all records from DMV indicating the trucks were not current on registration and had lapsed insurance. I won but its been almost 2 years since filing with EEOC and still nothing. In fact I haven't heard from the gentleman who took my case in almost 9 months. I've had this problem plenty of times, so don't believe there's an easy fix. However, I find what helps is skipping ahead in the plot to write a part that you look forward to, a part you already have figured out and is interesting enough that you really really want to write it. You'll find that the words will flow easier then. You can connect the parts later when you feel more like writing.

Okay so about a year ago, I had a flex-plan contract with T-mobile. Although it was under my name, it was not my phone. But that is besides the matter. The person who had the phone was suppose to be paying on it and let it be shut off. At the time I was out of work and they start calling me asking for $300 to cancel the contract. I didn't have the money and it went into collection. Yet now I have the money and am stable enough in a job that I can pay them, only I don't know who to call (collection agency). I am in financial crisis.. I lived off of small paychecks most of my life, but in the last couple of years fell into a way better paying field of work in the refineries and made much more than the average person... With the extra compensation came extra bills, I was buying a nice newer truck from a joe schmoe used car lot, I decided I would buy some wheels from rent a wheel, knowing that I would have them payed off in less than a month... well does life have a funny way of playing games with people, my nice big new truck broke down, the car lot gave me the cold shoulder saying that it was my duty to repair the vehicle i had only had for 3 months, and I didn't have the money at the exact moment that they told me this.... I was ahead in my payments on the truck and they still put it up for repossession... saying that my insurance had lapsed... which would not have been a problem except It was sitting at their shop when they did this. My wheels were on the truck.. they told me I couldn't have them, I told them they belonged to rent a wheel, they weren't mine, They said i would be arrested for trespassing if I went on the property, I was under the impression that I had 30 days before they could do anything with the vehicle, and waited a foolish week before letting rent a wheel knew what was going on, during which time, i Managed to basically lose my job struggling for a ride to work.... Rent a wheel contacted the car lot and they said they had auctioned the truck off only 10 days later, and the wheels were on it, and I had never made any attempt to get the wheels. It has been a couple of months, I missed some payments and they had me come into rent a wheel and renegotiate my terms, told me that I was facing 10 years imprisonment or 10,000 dollar fine minimum for theft of rental property.... said If i was one day late on one payment they would process all there papers, the re-agreement ("where they were trying to help me") and everything to the courts. I am 2 payments behind today. I have no money to pay, times are very hard, bill collectors like talking to me. I owe rent and etc, I probably have 15,000 in debt and not even a mortgage or car loan right now.... I don't know what to do, and I am not making enough money to hardly pay for the necessities, I want to pay my bills. I had good credit before all this.... I traded in a good car for the truck that was paid off, and i basically gave my other truck away to help a family member.... and now I don't even have a good vehicle...
