What do you people think about Sermon Of The Seven Suns?

I've read this sutta "Sattasåriyasuttaü - Seven suns" (Anguttara [aka Aïguttara] Nikaya 7.2 while some list it as 7.62) many times. Yes, in this sutta the Buddha describes the end of the world. Many sites do not include this sutta in their listings but one may read it at a href="http://www.metta.lk/tipitaka/2Sutta-Pitaka/4Anguttara-Nikaya/Anguttara4/7-sattakanipata/007-mahavaggo-e.html" rel="nofollow"http://www.metta.lk/tipitaka/2Sutta-Pita…/a or download a free e-Book a a href="http://www.bookyards.com/book_details.html?ranking=included&book_id=12522" rel="nofollow"http://www.bookyards.com/book_details.ht…/a . Personally, I consider the seven suns as being our sun going through seven stages and eventually engulfing the Earth but you'll have to decide for yourself. Yes, it is interesting how insightful such a teaching relates to modern scientific theory some five billion years away but, in Buddhism the Present is ultimately of more concern. I believe this is the point the Buddha was ultimately making—that the reality of Impermanence when he said further in the sutta, "Bhikkhus, thus determinations are impermanent not stable, there is nothing to comfort in them, so it is suitable that you should turn away from, get disentangled from and be released from all determinations. Bhikkhus, when the earth and the Himalaya peak is burning, whatever divine sayings and beliefs be, they also get burnt and are no more, would attained right view remain?"
