Help me with my doubt on Buddhism?

When Hinduism saw all the Buddhist converts, Hinduism adopted Buddhism and put The Buddha in their very large pantheon of gods and goddesses. The fact is, Buddhism is a separate religion, begun by the enlightenment of one man, Siddhārtha Gautama and has nothing to do with Hinduism. In fact if The Buddha knew how Hinduism was usurping his teachings and very being, he would roll over in his stupa!!!
