Hindu Dharma:Can we differentiate the love between...?

Mym mom is developing different attitude towards religions nowadays. She seems to encourge me to watch their way of worship, puts my attention on their ways and prayers and then keeps talking about symbolism and when I watch as am encourged she says me just stop doing it.
