Umm yep if you want your dads 9mm just buy it from him. If you want your own then just go buy from the sporting goods store. I doubt you'd get a 15rdd magazine from the store because they prob are cali compliant. If your buying the same model as your dad and those magazines are grand fathered in then I say just use your dads=D
